BIO
Born in Vietnam, raised in Hong Kong and Upstate New York, Cari Vuong studied
photography at The School of Visual Arts. Afterwards, he spent the next ten years
assisting for and being mentored by photographers such as Steven Klein, Wayne
Maser and Alex Cayley.
Cari has spent the last three years completing his two most recent projects. The first,
titled When We Were Young, is a series of American landscapes, of which a book has
been published. The second is a collection of intimate portraits of upstate New York
high school students, called Butterflies, from which another book will be made in early
